Over the years, she has created more than 500 original pieces, each reflecting her distinctive style and passion for craftsmanship.

Her five-day carving workshops have taken her across South Africa, where she has travelled far and wide, introducing aspiring artists to this unique medium. To date, she has personally trained more than 100 students, many of whom arrived with no previous carving experience. Her workshops have earned consistent five-star reviews, with participants often describing the experience as inspiring, empowering, and truly life-changing.

Chanelle's work has received national recognition, including an award from the National Arts Foundation of South Africa, and she remains passionate about sharing her knowledge, helping others discover their creativity, and preserving the art of skull carving for future generations.
 

Chanelle went to college to study Dramatic Art, and pursued a career in acting. However, the longing to create with her hands wouldn't subside. When she moved to the Kalahari Desert in 2019, she soon discovered skull carving - and a magical love affair with bone began. Although Chanelle has been in numerous Films and TV series, the solace creating brings resonates loudly.
