About the Studio

Chanelle's home and studio is located on a farm next to the Orange River, where grapes and cotton are being produced. The livelihood of farmers depends on this breathtaking strip of fertile soil. Also known as the Green Kalahari, this space is incredible to experience. A river that flows through the desert, giving life. 

Sand storms, bird-life and dramatic changes in climate (up to 50 degrees Celsius in summer and minus 3 degrees Celsius in winter) gives this area an incredible, unspoilt and breathtakingly beautiful reputation. Sunsets paint the skies in an exquisite display!
