Welcome to SafARTi - your Art Safari

SafARTi was born from something truly special — the connections, laughter, and lasting friendships formed around the skull carving workshop table. What started as a shared creative space naturally evolved into something bigger… a full experience where art, people, and the wild come together.

Want to know more?

What will I do?

Days unfold slowly and beautifully — hands busy with creation, conversations flowing easily, and creativity taking shape in ways you didn’t expect. You’ll explore multiple art forms, from intricate skull work to mosaic and decoupage, each piece telling its own story. And the best part? You don’t just learn — you leave with your own collection of artworks, created by you.

Pottery Painting - Paint a pottery piece and watch it being fired in the kiln

Skull Mosaic - Do mosaic art on a genuine skull sourced from Sable Ranch

Bone Decoupage - Decoupage a jaw bone, and turn it into something special

And...learn how to make your own Pasta!

Where will I do it?

Between creative sessions, the experience opens up even more. Think game drives through the bush, quiet picnics under wide African skies, incredible food shared around the table, and the kind of moments that stay with you long after you’ve left.

Escape to Sable Ranch, a private game reserve and national heritage site located north of Brits in 4000+ hectares of pristine North West province bushveld.

Cozy and beautifully equiped self catering accommodation, delicious cuisine, and unforgettable safari adventures in a malaria-free area. A scenic 2 hour drive from central Johannesburg and only 90 minutes from Pretoria East.

Do I need to be artistic?

No.

SafARTi is about stepping away from the noise and into something real — working with your hands, connecting with others, and rediscovering that creative spark we all carry.
No experience needed. No pressure to be “artistic.”
All you need to bring is your curiosity… and a little creative flair.
We’ll take care of the rest.
